I built Hydroom instead of tearing down my cellar grow a third time. Graph paper for the room. Five spreadsheets for the feed math. Two a.m. for the what-ifs — each one eating a different corner of my life. Consolidating them into one canvas let me plan the next cycle once. Why invite-only?+
Because Alex is building Hydroom for his own grow first, and every new cohort gets a polish pass before the next opens. The invite filter keeps the cohort small enough to hand-hold and fix what breaks.
Is my grow data private? This is a gray area.+
Every row is scoped to your user via Supabase RLS. No third-party analytics in alpha. Export or delete your data anytime. OCR screenshots are processed in-memory and never stored — only the confirmed numbers persist.
Do I need special hardware?+
No. Vivosun, AC Infinity and Mars Hydro owners can import readings via screenshot OCR. Everyone else works from manual logs. Hydroom is a planning and math tool first, a sensor-connected tool second.
When will I get in?+
No promise. Seats open in small cohorts. Top referrers go first. If you joined the waitlist, you'll hear from us when the next cohort opens — not before.
Will this replace my feed chart or spreadsheet?+
For the math and the log, yes. Your feed chart is still the source of truth — Hydroom just encodes the chart you picked (Canna, GHE, Advanced Nutrients, House & Garden, or a community recipe) and does the per-litre arithmetic for your exact reservoir.
What happens if I cancel?+
Export your data to JSON, click delete, and everything is wiped server-side within 24 hours. There's no paid tier during alpha — cancelling is just "stop using".
